Sir Ian McGeechan, rugby union sporting legend, is our performance guru. As a player and coach, ‘Geech’  is probably the sport’s most respected ambassador, famously coaching the British and Irish Lions most successful period, including five adventures to the southern hemisphere. Sir Ian currently heads the newly formed Yorkshire Carnegie franchise, a radical plan to create a northern powerhouse to compete at the top of English rugby.

Sir Ian is a softly-spoken man but he insists on fierce competitive spirit built on self-belief. This can only be achieved with the careful planning, using practical techniques that encompass all aspects of conditioning including mental preparation, diet, training and critically – hydration.

Geech has 5 principles to maximise performance.
